Plain-language summary

We don't collect personal information. Mathy Duck has no account, no sign-in, and no internet connection required to play.
Everything stays on the device. Your child's duck color, coins, and level progress are saved locally and never sent to us or anyone else.
Made with kids in mind. There is no chat, no user-generated content, and no way for players to contact one another.
This may change if we add advertising. If that happens, this page will be updated first, and any ads shown to children will follow child-directed, non-personalized settings — see "Advertising" below.

Who we are

Mathy Duck is a math practice game for children, developed by an individual developer, Cemil Alaeddin Saatci ("we," "us"). This policy explains what happens to information when you or your child use the app, available on the App Store and Google Play.

Information we collect

Mathy Duck does not require registration and does not collect personally identifiable information. The app stores the following data locally on the device only, using standard on-device storage:

Chosen duck color and equipped cosmetic items
Coins earned and level completion progress
Selected app language

None of this data leaves the device, is linked to an identity, or is transmitted to us or any third party. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes it.

Children's privacy

Mathy Duck is designed for children and their families. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the app has no features — chat, profiles, friend lists, or public leaderboards — that would let a child share information with us, with the developer, or with other players.

If we ever introduce features that involve data collection appropriate for a children's app, we will update this policy in advance and design those features to comply with applicable children's privacy laws, including COPPA and GDPR-K.

Advertising

Mathy Duck does not currently show advertisements. If advertising is added in a future update — for example through Google AdMob — it will be configured for child-directed treatment: contextual, non-personalized ads only, with no behavioral tracking or ad profiles built from app activity. This policy will be revised to reflect that change, with the ad provider named here, before the update is released.

Third-party services

Mathy Duck does not currently integrate any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising software development kits (SDKs). Should this change, this section will list each service used and what it collects.

Data security

Because gameplay data is stored only on your device and never transmitted, there is no server-side database of player information to secure or breach. Standard iOS and Android app sandboxing protects this data from other apps on the device.

Your choices

Since all data lives on your device, you are always in control of it:

Uninstalling the app removes all stored progress and preferences.
No account exists to delete, because none is created.
Parents or guardians with questions about a child's use of the app can contact us using the details below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves — for instance, if advertising or new features are introduced. The "Effective" date at the top will change whenever we do, and material changes affecting children's data will be communicated through the app's release notes.
